The third digital gender gap in childhood, a result of research by Deusto Valores Sociales and Opciónate.
On June 23rd, the Cyber-Resistance project results feedback session will take place in the Barandiaran room at the University of Deusto in Bilbao. Facing the third digital gender divide and cyberviolence in childhood: coeducation, opportunities, and resistance.
Following a process of joint participation and collaboration between the educational network of the Basque Country and the Canary Islands, the Deusto Valores Sociales Research Team, and the Canarian consulting firm Opciónate-Mejora Tu Vida-Mejora el Mundo desde 2023, they will present, this time in Bilbao, the conclusions of the study carried out in the Basque Country and on the island of Gran Canaria.
These sessions not only aim to present the project results to the entire educational community, but also to raise awareness, identify, and continue building a network of joint work and advocacy around gender inequalities, sexist risks, and also the opportunities available to children in the digital world, taking into account an intersectional and gender perspective. For this reason, the opinions and suggestions of the audience, which included professionals and interested families, will also be collected.
