The project runs from 31 March to December and includes two women’s meetings and a series of weekly face-to-face workshops.
Throughout the year, Opciónate participates in the project “Guía Infinita: Conciliation for leadership”, which has been set up by the Department of Equality of the Town Council of Santa María de Guía with the support of the Department of Equality of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
This project addresses two different but interdependent themes which affect the development of women in their professional, family and social lives: on the one hand, leadership, and on the other hand, self-care, conciliation and co-responsibility.
The project runs from 31 March to December and includes two women’s meetings and a series of face-to-face workshops held weekly.
Opciónate will give several of these workshops from a gender perspective, proposing individual and collective reflection on women’s health and wellbeing, on how we take care of ourselves, on work-life balance and personal, family and social co-responsibility, through an experiential and participatory methodology.
In addition, there will be the possibility of promoting and sharing initiatives that help to overcome the difficulties faced by women and that therefore allow them to improve personal, professional, work and family reconciliation and to live with a greater practical and emotional balance.
This initiative is part of the Strategic Framework for Equality of Gran Canaria Infinita of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
