The seal promotes the institutionalisation of gender in local corporations
In 2019, Opciónate signed a collaboration agreement with Coop4Equality as an evaluator of the SealforGender gender label in the Canary Islands. The SealforGender gender label is aimed at the institutionalisation of gender in local public bodies.
The head of Coop4Equality in Madrid, Esther Pino, met with Opciónate at its headquarters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to share the work of both institutions and to analyse the possibility of carrying out other joint projects.
In addition, both institutions held a meeting with the Councillor for Equality of the Cabildo de Igualdad de Gran Canaria, Sara Ramírez, to analyse possibilities for the dissemination and implementation of the label on the island and in the Canary Islands Autonomous Community.
