The Communication and Spokesperson Workshop aimed at migrant women residing in Gran Canaria will contribute to creating a space for intercultural dialogue for the creation of an egalitarian society on the island thanks to four online training sessions that will take place between February 8 and 17.

This free activity is part of the Neighbors Project and has been developed by Alianza por la Solidaridad and Farapi with the participation of Cúrcuma Estudio and the financing of the Department of Equality, Diversity and Transparency of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. The workshop will be given by the Opciónate Association.

The Neighbors Project seeks to contribute to the achievement of equality and participation for all migrants in Gran Canaria, in particular women, generating an active global citizenship that defends their rights. Registration for the sessions remains open at https://bit.ly/3HAYu0L.

The sessions will take place on March 8, 10, 15 and 17 in online format from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the contents taught will address leadership, personal skills, communication and spokesperson regarding the issues identified in the spaces of dialogue and from a feminist perspective.
