Our director, Ana Lidia Fernández Layos, shared her professional journey in Gran Canaria and internationally, reflecting on her leadership experience, the possibilities for social impact, and the challenges women face today in positions of power and decision-making.
Key topics discussed during the event included:
- Feminist networks among women as essential tools for collective progress.
- The need to transform patriarchal structures in institutions and organizations.
- The importance of creating support networks among women and with male allies to drive real change.
- The role of feminist leadership in expanding rights and opportunities for all.
Opciónate thanks FEMEPA, Casa África, the event’s speakers, and participants for this space of dialogue, inspiration, and collaboration, reaffirming its commitment to feminist leadership that transforms, connects, and paves the way for new generations of women in influential positions.
